Brooke and Andy’s engagement session at Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morristown, NJ was the definition of romantic and dreamy. Surrounded by wide open fields, tall grass, and towering trees, their session was just so wonderfully effortless and full of natural beauty. The golden light filtered through the branches as they wandered hand-in-hand, completely at ease with one another.
The arboretum’s expansive meadows created the perfect backdrop for their session, giving us that light, storybook feel while still feeling intimate and personal. We wandered through the tall grass, discovering different corners of the space with new scenes unfolding at every turn, stumbling upon the most picturesque meadow as the sun dipped lower behind the trees. Every frame felt warm and connected, capturing not just how their session looked, but how their relationship feels – easygoing, genuine, and so in love.
We ended their engagement session by the reflecting pool, a subtle and meaningful nod to Crossed Keys Estate where they’ll be getting married. The still water and garden setting mirrored the elegance and ease of their upcoming venue, making it the perfect way to tie this season of engagement to the next chapter ahead. If their Frelinghuysen Arboretum engagement session is any indication, I already know their wedding day will be every bit as meaningful and magical as this sweet season they’re in right now.
