Robin and Justin had a picture-perfect summer wedding at HollyHedge Estate in New Hope, PA. This elegant and rustic venue in Bucks County set the stage for Robin and Justin to begin their married life together! Sunshine flooded the courtyard and trickled into the bridal suite where Robin and her girls were getting ready. Not far away in the historic Inn, Justin and his groomsmen were doing the same; joking and cheers-ing and tying their ties as the girls joyously helped Robin into her gown, passed around bouquets, and headed into the barn to start portraits. Robin mentioned how much she loved the large windows in the barn – because they are stunning, so we of course captured her bridal beauty in portrait form there and continued outside to the courtyard to for more photos of the girls! Keeping their distance to avoid an accidental first look, the guys also headed outside to the open wooded area of this venue for a few pre-ceremony portraits.
It wasn’t long before buses arrived and the guests began filling their seats. They were greeted by the fountain in the center of the courtyard adorned by a bouquet of flowers (by the incredible The Pod Shop) outshined only by a chuppah handmade by Justin’s mother. Yep, handmade. I am in love with this detail, it is so beautiful and sentimental, a picture of two trees coming together as one. After the guests had settled the ceremony soon began. It was such a joy being able to capture a few final moments with Robin and her Father before they made their way outside. They emerged together arm in arm from the ‘Old Barn’ and Robin glided down the aisle toward a smiling Justin. They had a picture perfect ceremony with the perfect combination of laughter, heartfelt words, and teary eyed moments. Rings exchanged and one broken glass later and these two were husband and wife! Robin and Justin loved the indoor-outdoor setting for guests to be able to enjoy and explore, which is exactly what happened during cocktail hour! The live music (courtesy of the Bachelor Boys Band) and incredible food were the perfect complement to conversation and laughter among friends and family. While the guests enjoyed, the new husband and wife with their bridal party and family closely following, headed back into the inn to sign their Ketubah. It is so special to witness the Ketubah signing, and I love seeing how unique each one is! So much joy filled that room, and spilled out as we moved into all of the portraits! As we captured family groupings and bridal party and sent each group to enjoy cocktail hour it was soon just Robin and Justin, and in between portraits they had just a few quiet moments together before moving towards the gorgeous gates again that led them into the courtyard area once more to enjoy a few refreshments with friends and family!
The band migrated inside to the reception area, with guests soon following, and settled in for an incredible night of celebration! Dances, toasts, dancing, dinner, and more dancing! Robin and Justin were happy to make their way outside for a few more minutes alone, their dancing under the lights and snuggles in the archway and under the lit up trees captured as the perfect end to a fairytale wedding day. It was such a joy to get to know you, Robin and Justin, and to be there to capture your beautiful day! I hope you all enjoy the visual memories of this beautiful day
