Dania and Alan’s Floral Summer Soiree at Locust Hall Farm

Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm (a longtime and forever a favorite venue of mine), Danica and Alan’s wedding day unfolded like a dream woven with threads of love! It is hard to explain the love that Danica and Alan hold, it was such an honor to capture their love for each other and their friends and family. The first look these two shared really set the tone for the rest of the day: Alan’s sweet tears seeing his bride turned into laughter together which turned into bliss as we explored the farm’s peach orchard and wildflower field, just capturing these two in their joy. We made our way back to the farmhouse and met the bridal party, adorned in an array of mismatched floral dresses. They radiated a charmingly easy vibe, perfectly complementing the idyllic surroundings and Danica and Alan’s relaxed and joyful spirits.

Despite the forecast predicting rain, the heavens graciously withheld the summer shower until after the heartfelt ceremony, allowing the couple to exchange vows beneath a canopy of blue skies and billowing clouds. And my goodness, what a beautiful ceremony it was! Smiles and tears of joy radiating from friends and family, which continued on into cocktail hour and the reception, where heartfelt and hilarious speeches set the tone for the celebration to come!

As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange into gold, we snuck out to the fields behind the breezeway barn where Danica and Alan enjoyed the fresh air and felt the joy they were enveloped in! From the field they made their way back in to their first dance and opened up the dance floor with the most energetic group photo that ushered in the next tier of the party! The couple split an apple cider donut in lieu of a cake cutting. danced in the light of the historic stone barn together, and continued to soak in every moment of their beautiful wedding day.
