Casey and Tommy’s Elegant Autumn Wedding at Locust Hall | Jobstown, NJ

Casey and Tommy met in elementary school: he remembers asking for a hall pass so he could sneak notes to her, and she remembers writing “Mrs. Craig” all over her notebooks (and the teachers asking her to tell Tommy to stop sneaking out to give her notes)! Their crushes turned into something much more when they reconnected later in life. Casey says that she remembered thinking to herself how she was in trouble, because she felt the same way she did back in elementary school being around Tommy. He popped the question in 2019 and they planned a beautiful wedding at Locust Hall Farm (where Casey and her sister frequently sing together as The Grouser Girls). Plans were derailed when the pandemic hit and these two had to reschedule to October. Despite the unexpected and difficult changes of plans these two kept moving forward, and their wedding day finally came in October! Locust Hall’s sunflowers even stayed in bloom uncharacteristically late, so we were able to take a little trip out to get Casey’s dream portraits in the field!

Their day was absolutely incredible! Locust Hall looked incredible as always. Allie, Avery and their team knock it out the park every single time, and this day was a prime example of that. The whole day was the perfect blend of rustic elegance. The flowers were the perfect fall colors, with deep jewel toned reds peppered into soft peach tones, and what looks like wheat grass. Casey told me she described a general vision to her florist, Chesterfield, and then let them run wild. A great choice – if Casey weren’t so stunning these bouquets would have been the star of the show (they didn’t even come close to her beauty, though, let’s be real).

These two are so smitten with each other, and were so filled with joy to finally be married. I love the moment where Tommy threw his hands up in the air as Casey walked down the aisle – such an incredible reaction from the groom! Other note-able moments were Casey’s first look with her dad, and every moment she had with her flower girl; Casey and Tommy’s moment laughing together trying to get the mini horses to cooperate for a photo op, the amazing dance party that broke out when “Don’t Stop My Now” came on, Casey’s sweet dance with both her Grandfather’s. sneaking into the cocktail hour barn for a quiet and romantic night portrait…I could go on and on about this incredible day!

Enjoy viewing and reliving it through the photos below – make sure you give your cheeks a little break, because there is a high likelihood you will be beaming from their contagious joy!
