Alyssa and Evan’s wedding day at Hollyhedge Estate in New Hope, PA, was a testament to their warm and inviting personalities. The picturesque venue, with its lush gardens and colorful flowers, created a perfect backdrop for their special day. Alyssa and Evan envisioned the moment they saw each other for the first to be down the aisle, but this day was not short of first looks. opting instead for a series of touching first looks with her bridesmaids, the mothers, brothers, and most poignantly, her father. The emotion in her father’s eyes as he saw his daughter in her wedding dress was a moment that would bring tears to anyones eyes; it was such an honor to capture those emotions.
As guests gathered in the courtyard, they were greeted by a beautiful garden setting with a European-style stone barn standing proudly as the ceremony backdrop. Alyssa’s grand entrance through the iron gates, past the fountain, and down the aisle towards Evan was nothing short of magical. The ceremony was a delightful blend of laughter and heartfelt moments, perfectly capturing the love and joy that Alyssa and Evan share! After exchanging vows, the newlyweds took advantage of the golden summer sun for portraits, capturing stunning sun-kissed portraits and moments amongst the estate’s trees, large fountain, and the charming bed and breakfast on the property.
The reception that followed was as vibrant and lively as the couple themselves. Heartfelt speeches from the best man, the maid of honor (Alyssa’s childhood friend who is like a sister), and Alyssa’s dad added to the emotional tapestry of the day. The party truly kicked into high gear after everyone had eaten, Simply Sliced Entertainment brought energy to the dance floor with their music, and the sunglasses and leis were introduced, bringing an additional element of fun to the party! Amidst the celebration, Alyssa and Evan stole a quiet moment for themselves back to the courtyard where just hours earlier they became husband and wife. They stole kisses and shared an intimate dance under the string lights at dusk. It was the perfect end to a day filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories.
