Victoria and Jude’s day was something out of a fall fairytale! These two embraced a romantic garden vibe with a hint of vintage flare for their wedding at Curtis Arboretum. Every detail added to the atmosphere, from the watercolor invitations to the pale autumn florals, accented with dusty blue and gold; it tied together perfectly with the slate blue bridesmaid dresses and Victoria’s incredible laced gown!
Victoria’s morning was extra special because she had not just one, but three first looks, a true highlight to the day! Her nephews were just adorable and all smiles when they saw their aunt looking like a princess! Her father couldn’t help but tear up at the sight of his little girl, this was such a sweet moment to document for them. Soon after, Victoria made her way outside through the fallen leaves to her soon-to-be-husband, Jude, where they both shed some tears while sharing their private vows.
After some fun and regal bridal party portraits on the beautifully aged staircase it was time for everyone to tuck away in anticipation of the ceremony. As guests made their way to their seats, Jude awaited his bride beneath the flower-adorned arch with a weathered stone backdrop. Despite having an emotional first look with Victoria, he couldn’t hold back his tears as his bride made her way down the aisle. Victoria and Jude had an instant connection when they met and knew it was something they wanted to last forever. That long-awaited moment they had envisioned became a reality when their friend and officiant Jordan pronounced them husband and wife!
The one thing Victoria and Jude wanted to do (besides get married, of course) was to share this day with their loves ones. Even their dog, Gordon, was able to make an appearance – not only on the cocktail napkins, but as a hit on the dance floor as a cut out, too! Between the speeches and laughs at the reception, the newlyweds made it a point to sneak away together and share a little dance and dip beneath the glow of Curtis Arboretum’s light wrapped tree in the front before heading inside for their first official dance as husband and wife! I love when couple’s choose to step out of their reception for a few minutes for sunset or night portraits. That moment not only gave Victoria and Jude a chance to exhale and be together in the (literal and figurative) glow, but also made for some beautiful images to freeze that moment of bliss for the two of them.
It wasn’t long at all before these two and their guests were celebrating into the night! It was definitely a day to remember, and one that I am forever grateful to have been a part of. Congratulations again, Mr. and Mrs. Habib!
