Nestled among the lush greenery of the Catskill Mountains, Adrienne and Ian exchanged vows in a celebration bursting with color, love, and the joyful presence of their golden retriever, Oliver. Their wedding at Spillian, a rustic yet elegant venue tucked away in the heart of the Catskills, was a perfect destination for a weekend of wedding celebration.
Adrienne expressed early on that capturing the vibrant hues of their wedding day was incredibly important to her. It was such a joy to highlight everything from the rich greens that surrounded them to the brilliant pops of color curated by TK Floral Design‘s incredible flower installation and whimsical tablescapes. The colors of the day were a true reflection of the joy that radiated from these two and their loved ones that surrounded them in celebration!
The day began with an incredible amount of joy pouring from each room of Spillian as the couple and their parties got ready for the day. Adrienne shared beautiful first looks with her father, brother’s, and her groom-to-be. Their private vows were incredibly heartfelt and filled these two with glassy eyes and smiles alike. The joy continued through their portraits and culminated at this point of the day when we retreated back up to the bridal suite where Oliver was ready for his moment with his parents! We created beautiful family portraits of these three, and captured so much joy as they shared the moments leading up to their ceremony with their sweet dog!
From the moment guests arrived, they were enveloped in the enchanting ambiance of the woods, with trees providing a natural canopy for the outdoor ceremony. The air was filled with anticipation and excitement as loved ones gathered to witness Adrienne and Ian’s union.
Adrienne, radiant in her Grace Loves Lace gown and incredible veil, made her grand entrance into the ceremony, where Ian awaited her. Her father lifted her veil in a wave of emotion, the guests were seated, and the ceremony began. As they exchanged heartfelt vows beneath the canopy of trees and overflowing arch of flowers, the love between Adrienne and Ian shone brightly, as solft light filtered through the leaves.
Cocktail hour was enjoyed by the couple and their guests on a large wrap around porch overlooking the meadow. As it came time for the reception guests light up and Adrienne and Ian made their way down the wooded path surrounded by guests with sparklers – this ‘sparkler entrance’ just added to the magic as the day turned to evening! The reception layout was centered around a large bonfire with tables all facing inward, dotted with colorful bud vases and under the warmth of string lights. Heartfelt speeches were made, conversation and laughter was enjoyed by friends and family over a family style meal.
It wasn’t long before the ambient light faded and Adrienne and Ian cut their cake and shared sweet dances with each other and their parents. The hora kicked off the party and these two and their guests enjoyed a perfect summer night!
